When should we get started?

Strategy Start ~ Freshmen This serviceis designed to provide early guidance to freshmen and their families who are ready to discuss the college process. Clarification on classes, extracurriculars and answers to questions can help to pave a path for a smooth college journey. There is enough time to plan activities and classes that suit the student and help provide them with material for a well rounded application. Susan keeps the conversation low key, as 9th graders are just starting their high school journey.

Sophomore year allows students to plan junior year courses, extracurriculars and begin their college planning early. An early start provides time to explore opportunities and make genuine choices that could enhance a student’s application.

Junior year is prime time to get the process rolling. Juniors are ready to build a college list, write essays and begin applications. There is still time to get involved in extracurriculars, community involvement and enrichment opportunities. Juniors benefit greatly by completing application tasks early and avoiding the “last minute crunch.”

Seniors have quite a lot to accomplish in a short period of time with regards to college applications. Some college applications are due in November or early December. Seniors should begin the college application process ASAP. Senior start space is limited.

Susan Skrocki accepts a limited number of clients for each graduating class to ensure an individual and personalized experience for every student.
