One of the most rewarding parts of my 20 year teaching career was getting to know each student and determining how to best encourage their personal growth. This student centered philosophy carries forward to my college consulting practice as I guide each student through their college application process.

I realize the importance of working with each student as an individual to determine how I can help them navigate their own college journey. I also understand the importance of communication, keeping families informed as to the progress of the college application process. Parents and students will receive an email after every student meeting with an update. I am always available and open for questions or a conversation.

My expert guidance helps students shine on their college applications by highlighting their unique skills, attributes, accomplishments and goals.

I look forward to working with students in a friendly, engaging and purposeful manner.

Professional Community

Professional development is a cornerstone of my practice. As an active member of Higher Educational Consultant’s Organization (HECA), I regularly attend and present to my peers at conferences and online workshops. My MBA in Marketing and years working in the business world, followed by twenty years of teaching and raising my own three now successful young adult children enable me to approach educational consulting from several perspectives.

I learn from and am supported by wonderful colleagues as well. My IEC MasterMind group meets monthly to collaborate and discuss hot topics in the college application world. We even present together at conferences!
